Watsu®

Watsu® is a uniquely nurturing and profoundly healing form of aquatic therapy, originally developed while practicing shiatsu in warm water. During a session the receiver is completely supported by the therapist in skin temperature water, while being gently moved and stretched, using movements adapted from shiatsu, dance and yoga. Because of the buoyancy and warmth of the water, the spine is free, taking pressure off nerves; muscles relax, and circulation improves, bringing health to every part of the body. Natural movements and flow of the body and breath are followed, allowing for deep relaxation and release of long held patterns. Healing takes place on many levels. Watsu® is beneficial for anyone who wants to experience the magical effect of water on body, mind and spirit!
